Why is Secure Hive Encryption So Good?

Secure Hive is a powerful tool.

Secure Hive offers file and email encryption and secure sharing of files.

Files are stored in a compressed, encrypted archive that can contain one or thousands of files. You can double-click the Secure Hive archives to edit or view protected files with any application, and automatically re-encrypt after modification - there's no need to save the file elsewhere whilst making changes and then re-encrypt. Decryption - edit - encryption all happen seamlessly and without you being aware of working with an encrypted file.

Secure Hive comes in an Enterprise version or a Free (personal) version. The free version can be used like a 'Reader' for use by those receiving a Secure Hive encrypted file but who do not want to install the full version. This is perfect for enterprise users who wish to use Secure Hive to send encrypted files to third parties outside of their company.

What Does Secure Hive Enterprise Offer?

	Encryption of part, or entire, Word documents, Excel worksheets or PowerPoint presentations through Secure Hive's integration with Microsoft Office.
	Encryption of part, or entire, content of common documents (such as Notepad, WordPad), email messages and instant messages, including mixed text and graphics, with Secure Hive's Clipboard Encryption feature.
	Passwords or digital certificates can be used for controlling access to the encrypted data.
	Encrypted archives can be digitally signed.
	A recovery certificate can be set so that encrypted data can be recovered in the event of password loss, certificate expiry, etc.

What About the free version?

The free version is for personal use only. Although it works in the same way as the Enterprise version it has certain limitations in use.
