Why is Secure Hive Encryption
So Good?
Secure Hive is a powerful tool.
Files are stored in a compressed, encrypted
archive that can contain one or thousands of files.
You can
double-click the Secure Hive archives to edit or view protected files with any
application, and automatically re-encrypt after modification - there's no need to save
the file elsewhere whilst making changes and then re-encrypt. Decryption - edit -
encryption all happen seamlessly and without you being aware of working with an
encrypted file.
Secure Hive comes in an
Enterprise version
or a
Free (personal) version. The free version can be
used like a 'Reader'
for use by those receiving a Secure Hive encrypted file but who do
not want to install the full version. This is perfect for enterprise users who wish to
use Secure Hive to send encrypted files to third parties outside of their company.
